Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have been separated for some time now, but all has been quite on the divorce front, we now know why.
Reports suggest the couple’s lawyers have been trying to agree on settlement terms behind closed doors before they file for divorce. The aim was to avoid a nasty court battle but looks like things may not quite work out. Ashton is trying to avoid paying a large settlement sum and as a result the divorce proceedings could go public if the two can’t reach an agreement.
Ashton who has been dating The 70’s Show co-star Mila Kunis since the split earned considerably more than Moore during their marriage and with his infidelity being a reason for the split the courts are likely to award Moore a hefty settlement.
It would be in Ashton’s best interest to keep the battle outside of court and not have his dirty laundry aired in public.
