Disney Developing a Sequel to Alice In Wonderland

We are surprised it took this long.

Variety reports that Disney is developing a sequel to the 2010 Tim Burton film Alice in Wonderland. Linda Woolverton is returning to the write the script and Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd are returning as producers.

Woolverton has a long history with Disney having written films like The Lion King and Alice In Wonderland.

The original Alice in Wonderland was released in 2010 starring Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska and went on to earn over $1 billion worldwide.
